Domaining, Internet Marketing & SEO - DomainerSEO RSS

Building a website is just the first step. Search engine optimization (SEO) will get your site listed in Google and other search engines. That's a good start, but marketing and promotion will bring in even more traffic.

If you own domains that you are not using you can park them and earn money. These parked domains can even earn more than fully developed domains. Sounds simple, right? It can be, but it may be hard to know how to start. I spend a lot of time helping people earn money from domain parking at parkquick.com. This site will be more free-form. I'll add stuff here that's too brief or too ephemeral to add to ParkQuick.

I'm coming at this from a different angle. I'm a domainer first. I'm learning the rest of it. I'll share a lot of what I learn - but who shares everything?

I don’t know about you, but a future without URLs and without the infinite organicity of the web frightens me. It’s not that I know what we’ll lose by removing this artifact of one of the most generative periods in history — and that’s exactly the point! The URL and the ability for anyone to mint a new one and then propagate it is what makes the web so resilient, so empowering, and so interesting! That I don’t need to ask anyone permission to create a new website or webpage is a kind of ideological freedom that few generations in history have known!

Twitter Flip-Flops On Advertising
Twitter has opened the door for advertisers to target its millions of users for the first time, as it desperately looks to find a way of making money from the “micro-blogging” phenomenon. The move marks a softening of attitude at the website, which has 45 million users, has overtaken MySpace in the UK but has yet to find a business model to bring in consistent revenues.

When the Web site FreeLegoPorn.com began publishing pornographic images created with Lego toys, trademark owner Lego Juris AS, which sells the popular plastic building blocks for children, acted quickly. “The content available on the site consisted of animated mini-figures doing very explicit things. We were not amused,” says Peter Kjaer, an attorney for Billund, Denmark-based Lego.

This is a pretty amazing opportunity. Google Cash Detective is the highest rated of the internet marketing “spy tools.” It contains weeks of fresh data on the successful ad campaigns being run by people in different Online niches. You can immediately find out what keywords your competitors are bidding on, which ones they keep bidding on week after week, and which ads they repeatedly run to generate income. That makes it very easy to clone their campaigns and grab part of the market. Google Cash Detective is designed for people who are buying ads on AdWords and similar services and sending the traffic to CPA and Affiliate offers. You can easily find out what is working for others and save yourself hours of tedious keyword research. This tool has allowed me to start new income streams that do not depend on my domain names alone. Try this tool on your own campaigns, and see how accurate it is. For the first time ever Chris Carpenter is offering a free trial of this very powerful tool.

Make a 1,000% Profit

I found a way to make 10x my investment in a short period of time, and I want to share this because I don’t think it’s a limited opportunity. What I am going to share probably won’t work for everyone, and it won’t work all the time, but I can tell you that I did this before, and I did very well. Snapnames and Moniker have made it very easy to list domain names for sale on Snapnames. The problem many people have is registering domain names that other people want to buy. Sure, I can go ahead and register 1,000 new domain names and put them up for auction right away, but if nobody wants them, I’m basically out $8,000
